one more question im puttin all msd on the car, how do i know what cylinder is number one on both the cap and the block?

If you have questions about re setting up your lifter and pre loading them just ask. I have heard WAY too many dumb ass ways of people doing this. There is only 1 right way.

Number one on the block never changes. Passanger front cylinder is number 1. WIth the distrubitor you can make number one anywhere you want, as long as it's wired in the firing order, and you have it TDC compression stroke on the #1 cylinder. Be extra careful when you put the timing chain on so the correct marks line up where they should be.

The rotor? Yes it has to be pointing at the post you want to be #1
