That was his complex. The fire was on the 3rd floor and he lived on the first floor. His place is full of water damage but no fire damage. He was on his way home from work when he rolled up on the fire. He told me that most of his stuff is going to make it but things like his furniture is trashed. He does have renters insurance and has been given another apartment. He was moving last night but still needs a bed. Should be back to normal by next week. He has a place to stay and is welcome to stay with me. Still sucks to have your stuff destroyed due to someones who has done something stupid.

If he needs to find a cheap bed for now to check out Odd Lots/Big Lots furniture, there's few in your area. He can pick up a frame and mattress (serta) on the cheap.

x2!!!! I get pissed just seeing people throw them out their car windows. I wish I had a full ashtray to throw back in their window at them. But since I don't smoke, that is hard to come by. :lol:

There was a fire on the side of M-59 near Adams Rd a few years back due to a cigarette that ignited the dry grass. Drove by that blaze on my way home from work one evening. Firefighters were having fun with that.

Yeah it bothers me to see all the cigarette butts all over the roads, sidewalks, all over our parking deck here. Cars have ashtray's for a reason people! So your trash doesn't end up on the road. Throw that S#$& out instead of littering! Cigarette Butts are not 100% biodegradable! They have some plastic in them. :mad: And they still stink when they get wet in the rain and stuff.
