Aresco economy 4 post

I know a thread was started before but I can’t seem to find it. How do you guys like the economy 4 post? Really considering one.

I bought mine thru Best buy equipment but then they had Aresco install it. You can save $100 by going directly thru Aresco. I've had mine for about 4 years with no issues. I do have a small leak on the actuator from being extended all the time. I hear mix reviews about having no tension on the cables to having a little so the actuator arm has some support. I paid $2700 delivered and installed. 13239253_10207892022037275_2936882987740575009_n.jpg

I have an Aresco two posts. I am mostly happy with it - I will give one word of caution though that would apply to a four post - keep an eye on the installer. My guy didn't get it perfectly square - he lined it up to Sal's saw-cut lines in the concrete. And Sal is good, but not that good! Needless to say, I have to pull in at about 5 degrees off grid to get it perfectly aligned. Also, the guy hit the lift button and one of the hydraulic lines was still loose. I think if I ever get another one, I will be "Hanging out" in the garage with the guy to make sure it is perfect.

Thanks guys. I was going to build it myself. It didn’t seem like it would be that bad but maybe I’m wrong. Svt does it give you enough room to do drop a trans in between the platforms? Just got all the measurements and gonna do some measuring today.

Yes, I've done a few on there with no problem. It has a jacking crossmember that slides so sometimes I just drop the trans on that for clutch jobs and slide it out of the way. .

The polished face looks just as nice. I agree, it would really compliment the black paint, though. Still bad ass. Maybe one of these days I'll get rid of my stockers.
