Wow, I've been going for decades and had no idea I was a racist, oppressive, home bred terrorist. I'm actually pretty close to saying fuck it and not going. Move it to Novi and leave that hall empty if this is how they feel
 
So that part of American history offends him?

1) That flag dosn't represents what he claims it does.

2) I wish things I am offended by would be gone!

Hey, you hurt my feelings! I live in Novi and it's just as full of racists as Detroit... Wait a second...
These cars and flags have all been at Autorama one time or another while I've been there.
I've seen white, black, asian, and whatever else down there at Autorama each and every time, probably gay and lesbian too, and even some that don't know what they are.
They all had to pay to get in, at least a few bucks, whats the friggin problem.
 
If you really read the article it's over the fact that the smokey and the bandit trans am had a Confederate front plate. That's insane
 
Move it to Novi fuck the shitty city Detroit. I wish they would move the auto show as well cobo Hall is a shithole.
 
So there are those who insist the Confederate flag is racist and offensive,
therefore it must be removed from the public.

Anyone want to bet how long before the same objection is made for the
US flag?

Already happened. Remember when they cancelled the 9-11 statue because they couldn't transform the three white guys who were actually in the picture raising the flag into the "Woke" posse?
