Are you a "car hoarder" ?

After looking at that link to compulsive hoarding, I think I have compulsive car hoarding disorder. I never have one car, I always have a few cars, and only a handful run at any given moment. As soon as I get rid of one, another appears. Is there a cure?
 
lol. i know what you mean sir. i own year to 7:iamwithst cars . 3 runing, 1 is getting sold, one is my race car, 3 ( 1940's) i got from my dad when he passed
 
My buddy is horrible with that. I'd say right now he probably has somewhere around 14 give or take a couple. He's had 19 at one point. Probably half of them run aside from his daily driver, although realistically most of them are pieces of crap. :lol: He has several 60's-70's Lincolns/Cadillacs in various states of condition he's "hoarding" as project/parts cars. He's always buying shit even though he has no logical reason for it.
 
At one point I had a Thunderbird TurboCoupe and 4 more as parts cars.
Right now I have 7 cars and really only need 2.

For some weird reason, they are all silver or black.
 
I dont like to have my options limited thats why I try and stick with at least 4 cars. Gives me a chance to make the truck sit and think about wearing out wheel bearings. Kind of like giving a bad child a time out.
 
At the moment I don't feel I am with cars but over the last years I've acquired 7 firearms! :) Guns are cheaper to buy that cars. Hopefully I am lucky enough to have a few toy cars and a bike once I do the house mod. I don't think the wife mod will be as bad as most people. She's more obsessed with her Camaro than I am my Trans Am.

Even worse, because they are cheaper and easier to store, though I paid more for my 1911 than I did for about 20 of my cars.

There is a 78 Pace Car down the street from my house, been sitting for a while. I pointed it out to Sue when we drove by the other day and she says,
"I thought Alex owned the 78 Indy Pace Car?"

I said, "yeah, but they made thousands, Alex's car isn't THE actual Indy Pace Car"
She was disappointed when she learned that. :lol:
