Vent on.....This sucks so much!! Mark is in MI selling Red Hawk :cry: and I'm home alone in our apartment in IL. The chick that lives upstairs must leave her teenage kids home alone at night. These little assholes are so damn loud it is making me crazy. They walk so hard that even my cats are looking up at the ceiling. Tomorrow I'm going to the office to officially complain because if they aren't stomping on the floor, they are listening to rap music very loudly or running down the stairs.

Maybe I'm being a bitch because I'm home alone or because red hawk is going away but damn! Don't mess with me tonight!

On the bright side....we are closing on our new house in a couple weeks and then we will be out of here!

Vent over. I feel a little better.
 
well why dont you go and talk to them about the problem first. I know at my apt we get fined 300 bucks by the company if they confirm a noise violation. times are hard and nobodies pockets can take a big hit like that right now. If they are loud again screw them.
 
This is how you stop the noise

Get an adjustable wrench and go find their gas meter....
turn shutoff lever counter clockwise 1/4 of a turn and add a "Dollar store" lock....
noise should stop within 1/2 houre.

I live on the top floor of my apartment complex and I can't stand Snoop Dogg that lives below me playing rap music and what not all the time so fucking loud. While I was overseas on deployment he almost burned the apartments down a couple times by falling asleep while something was cooking...FD was called both times apparently.

I also hate my own roommates slamming the apartment door whenever they come in or out...I don't care about that bothering the neighbors but what about me damnit. I am courtious (sp?) enough to gently close the door why can't they? Next time I'm gonna come home from the bar at 3am like tonight and slam it when they are sleeping to send them a message.
 
I live in a dorm and I actually love it! Our mascot is a peacock so I hear lots of peacock calls all night :lol:
