Anyone with experience at Ford assembly plant? Need a Focus ST assembly code deciphered.

Like the title says, I ordered a new Focus ST...no drama, everything went through up until it was manufactured August 13th, then it just stopped at the plant...no going to the ramp, no being released...while the other vehicle numbers around it sailed out the door.

Then, 2 weeks after it was produced, a curious assembly code was assigned to it. It is still at the plant and everyone from sales and customer service can't figure out whats going on with it...was it damaged or did something else go wrong?

If anyone from Ford familiar with assembly could PM me, I'll show you the code. I'd really appreciate it, just so I have piece of mind as to what could be the issue before I actually buy this car.

Not sure on your specific car, but there are some recall campaigns related to steering racks (including ST) which have "do not drive" issuances on them. This could be the problem.
