Anyone work on electric golf carts?

Looking for someone to work on a electric golf cart. A brief background. I bought a 2001 ezgo 36 volt txt series golf cart that needed batteries. I bought and installed new batteries. I charged them for 12 hours. My daughter drove the cart for awhile. Then a few hours later we were leaving so I was going to put t it in the garage and it wouldn't move. Hit the gas the solenoid just clicks. Later on when we came home I checked the voltage on the batteries their all reading fully charged. I tried the cart and it worked fine. The next day she drove it around the block once then it stopped on the way back in front of our house. Hit the gas it just solenoid just clicks. Anyway before I take it to a shop I wanted to see if anyone works on them or know someone that does.
Thanks, Matt

I had one of these do this and there was a little resistor on the solenoid that was arching out on the body of the noid.

Remove the forward/reverse cover plate to expose the circuit board and cables. I guarantee their is corrosion on the brass terminals. Remove all terminals, clean and put back together. Check the cables going to the F/R cam and make sure they are not burned up. Worst case scenario you will need a new F/R cam and they are like $30, but try cleaning it first.

P.S - when you remove the cables make sure only the nut spins and not the terminal connected to the switch, if so you will need a new switch for sure.

Thanks I took the cover off already. I didn't see any corrosion. But I will clean all the terminals and see what happens.

I just went out to the garage and looked at the for/rev switch. I see a broken piece. From a quick internet search looks like the switch cost $109.00. Picture below shows what is broke.
