Anyone on the East Side have any Minor Exhaust Leaks on their Beater DD's?

I want to try this product we have at my work to see how good it could work for this type of application. We make and sell it to various OEM's now, but for totally different types of uses. Currently nothing close to exhaust type of applications.

What it is.... is this self adhesive type material (in thin Sheets) that could be cut to size easily with Scissors or knife. Simply Cut and Apply to the needed area. As the exhaust heats up, this stuff kick's and cures as hard as steel. Hole obviously could not be soooo big as to where your shit is falling or off or totally rusted out. Only for smaller annoying fixes where you dont want to replace everything.

This would not be for your show car obviously, but for the cost concerned consumer looking to temporarily fix their Beater DD's while trying to save a few bucks.

Anyone up for using their Beater DD for this free Test? :cheers:

(FYI - no I am not getting anything for this, just an Idea I have had here at work with this stuff. We used it on two people's cars here at work over a year ago and has worked without fail)

I have a straight pipe on my dd its a 98 mazda pickup it sounds like I have a leak but havent gone underneath to check.... live here chesterfield area work in warren!

this could also be something my work might be intrested in buying bulk from you if it works out good as an option to replacing the entire exhaust and sometimes discontinued exhaust would help out some of these people also.

I have a leak anywhere from header, or y-pipe on my 1997 vw golf. They quoted me like 200-300 bucks to fix, so I am willing and able to try

i have a hole in the middle of my Xpipe on my 86 stang right in the middle where the pipes come together Ill give it a try, since it doesnt bother me the cars already loud its just not as deep like i want.

I am not looking to actually apply it to anyone vehicle, but I will provide some of the material for you to do so yourself.

I know I stated Exhaust, but this would not be intended for Headers or the Exhaust Manifolds right off the engine. Those get too hot, may work but not what I was shooting for.
