Anyone need feeder fish?

Long story, but my turtle is not eating. The vets office suggested I try live food(which I don't feed). I stopped on the way home from the vet Thursday and bought 5 feeder goldfish. My turtle will not eat them either. Now I have 5 fish swimming around the tank. A headache I do not need right now.

Anyone want to save me the trouble of taking them back to the store. I can't just flush them alive and I really don't want to have to start feeding them. Not to mention I have bigger issues than dealing with these fish.

I'm in Eastpointe, but I could bag them up and bring them to work tomorrow (Beverly Hills)

Please tell me someone needs feeder fish!

ever try ticklin your turtles cheeks and stickin food in when he opens up his mouth. always worked for me

Take them down to the 9 mile boat launch and dump them in the canal, that way your freeing them and not flushing them

Nope. I have never fed her live food or wanted to. The biggest thing is she is not eating at all right no because she is egg bound. So I have been trying everything in the world to get her to lay eggs and eat!

Flush em. It is only 5 little feeders.

I don't wanna do that :frown:

You guys suck  I am just trying to not be mean to the poor fishies. If no one takes them...back to the pet store they go. I can't stand to just kill them (yes some people think I have issues)

I wouldn't flush them either, I think that's horrible. My fish tank is currently full so I can't help you :(

try Craigslist?

Take them to porcelain lake

Maybe you should try actually reading. Since I stated I have not and did not want to ever live prey.

The ONLY reason I attempted was as a last ditch effort suggested by the vet to get my turtle to eat. She is egg bound and not eating. This can be a fatal condition.

Thanks for your input...your response=fail
