anyone know this rider, decapitated, lost limbs..

Shit, I used to ride that lil stretch of road all the time...
It could be hairy at times... lots of gravel and cars that never seem to be in the right spots...... RIP

Still I cant Wait to have a bike to ride again.... How wierd is that?

There was another one I heard about in St. Clair county on Friday night. The rider missed a turn and hit a pole, he didn't make it..

So sad. Rest in Peace. I went out for a ride on my custom which is hard as hell to ride and I never know if a part is going to shake off. (I have a Buell as well). I accept that I am taking risks. I anticipate it. This is the way you have to think. Still it's sad to here when a rider is taken out.

I feel for his family.

This is why I'll never have a bike. ONE mishap and it's done. A car at least you have a chance. :(

And that's just it - you could be the best rider in the world and wham - some dumb nuts pulls out without looking and then it's curtains.

After crashing into a tree on a dirt bike last week I think my two wheel days are over. It can happen so quick you really have no time to react. :(

Actually a bigger percentage of car drivers die from closed head injuries than the same percentage of bikers do.

well that's because they are wearing helmets.

i love riding motorcycles. i rode streetbikes for years and years until i finally got sick of the moronic cagers not noticing me.

godspeed to him.

Horrible. RIP Ive ridden for many years. Got rid of my 954 last year. Im like chris though...id take another one in a heart beat.

that sucks to hear... i live by 16 mile and gratiot..it seems there are at least 2 down riders in the same spot every year.. since i can remember... needless to say i dont ride by there, since where it happens on 16 mile all of the is strait with no turn around in sight... i dont understand...

i love riding and when i hear about shit that happens it makes me WAYYY more alert.
