I just took my 2013 Dodge Journey to the dealer this morning for the 6th time in 5 months for the same issue. I just picked it up from the dealer 11 days ago for the same problem. It is a transmision issue and shifting when it damn well wants to. I can drive 9 days without a problem (even though I feel something strange in the shifts). Then all of a sudden it starts shifting back into first at 25 miles and hour. Or I could be driving 45 miles an hour and have it shift into 2nd gear and have rpm's hover at 4500. On the days it starts doing this the check engine light will finally come on. They have replaced modules, speed sensors, flashed PCM, replaced wire harness to trans, changed internal parts. I believe over the past 5 months it has been at the dealers about 45 days and counting. This is a lease that I have another year and a half on. I have basically to afraid to drive it too far from the house this whole summer.
Is there someone at Chrysler i can call? I want out of this lease!!!! Anyone have experiences similar where Chrysler did a buy back?
