Anyone know anything about PPV Tahoes?

Send me the vin. I talked to a friend of mine who is a part time cop in Waterford and also a mechanic at a gm dealer that worked on all pontiacs police vehicles when they were around. He said one way or another he will be able to find out where it was in service.

It sounds like he is describing a rebuilt motor and trans, not the original ones. Seems like a pretty good deal though.

If it's not the original "cop motor" then what's the point? Does it at least have the "cop tires, cop suspension, and cop shocks"?

His definition of "built" is him just rambling off some slight misinformation someone told him about the truck and that they ate factory built to "catch the bad guys"

A bulletproof oil pan...cuz you know, in them high speed chases, the guy shooting at you has such great precision, he can ricochet a bullet clear off the pavement and turn your Tahoe into a fiery mess on the side of the highway.

Or the NYPD starts shooting anywhere within a mile of you.

After he decided to spontaneously raise the price and after catching all his bullshit I have no more interest in the truck. This guy is a blatant liar and should be called out.

My friend found more stuff on it for ya. Shows when the guy bought it and how much he bought it for. I'll send it to you.

IT was bought at auction May 20th 2011 at the Pontiac silver dome for $4300. It had 84,024 miles on it at the time of auction. It was last services at lunghammer Chevy in waterfor in 2008 as a Pontiac police vehicle with 63,000 miles. But according to the seller he has owned it since 50k miles and it was once driven as a Texas police vehicle and driven by mr universe Ronnie Coleman lmao.

Edit: it not I

Funny they jacked the price up $2k removed all the performance engine build details and the details about it being a Texas police vehicle and added almost 10 k miles in just an hour lmao.

ask if it still has "the chip" in the computer thats what makes police cars crazy fast

 I used to own a '95 Caprice MSP car, and I got "the chip" question all the time. Its usually the South Warreners or Hazeltuckians that ask such questions.

He just spammed my email:

"So your saying my truck is a crap? I've owned this truck for almost a year and half now and never had an issue. This truck is in great running condition and I've Been driving it everyday. I'm asking a fair price way below kbb value. it was owned by my father an oak park police officer. He took really good care of it! I have 3 Tahoe's and the reason for selling it is because I have to many cars. Other than that I love this truck. I wouldn't even sell it if I didn't have a baby on the way! Thanks"

"Good luck with your research go find a 2005 Tahoe in great condition with 90,000 miles with no issues for under $7000. Let me know if u find one lol."

"Lol Thanks for flagging me I already sold it $7100. Thanks for wasting my time. Ontop of the 100 calls and texts I've recieved this week. "

All I told him was, "Glad you sold, just glad it wasn't me. I'm not saying the truck was crap, but what turned me off was the blatant misrepresentation of the truck.

And I never flagged it."

So we'll see if he answers me from that haha I just wish I could get a hold of the poor sap that bought it.
