Once again the police crosses the line with unnecessary excessive force

Long story short, guy crashes into a car, then gets out starts running, realizes he has no where to go, and basically surrenders himself. the State trooper busts out his club and starts beating the guy in the back of the head and then throws him on the ground and starts hitting him in the head several times. Then another cop appears to have kicked him in the ribs. there were like 5 or 6 cops around him. he's already on the ground and cuffed. WTF...I'm glad this was all caught on chopper camera. Cause I don't think this cop thought it was being filmed. Fuckin bullshit.. this cop should be fired...

I would promote his ass. maybe next time the low life wont run!

c'mon zack

Sean, you didn't read my post. the guy STOPPED running. he just stood there. He was clearly not resisting arrest. I'm certainly not condoning what this guy did, but at the same time, he did not deserve the unnecessary beating. Take him down, and cuff. no need for the clubbing to the head, and kicking to the midsection. I'm sure this will become an issue. Even the reporter noted the excessive force.

Would you feel any different if you were the person that got T-boned by the suspect?

I'm not for police brutality, but after the guy drove around like a jackass, crashed into another car, and got out and ran away I wouldn't expect the police to ask the suspect to play nicely.

As I posted above I'm not condoning what he did. But the guy Just stood there waiting to get arrested. he did not attempt to fight the cop.

The guy took off and ran and endangered peopled lives, do you think they'd give him the chance to do it again?

"Fool me once, shame on you"
"Fool me twice......"

The message to the public is don't run and you won't get your ass beat. That's the way it should be. And maybe if someone gets their ass beat bad enough they'll think about it beofre they do something stupid again.

if the law allowed the police to kick the guys ass i would be all for it, but the law does not allow it. if they broke any rules and its on camera they should be punished

U should mind your own business & let the cops handle their business.

no I read the whole post and still am glad he got his ass whopped no matter what.

Look at what happend to Ryan on tthis board when he got hit my a police chase fucked him up, tons of surgeries etc changed his life forever. The guy got a ticket and like 3 months. How is that fair? Let him get his ass beat.

What if when he crashed he crashed into your wife and kids? How would you feel if he got away light etc?

If he was able to walk to the cop car afterward, he wasn't beaten enough. Promote the cop with a large pay raise.

Given the chase, and the complete disregard for the safety and well being of others for an EXTENDED time. I am glad he got his @$$ beat.

What they should do is lock the guy in a room, and let the family of the innocent person who go t-boned in...no questions asked.

There is only one guilty party and thats the media for broadcasting it. Turn the cameras off and let the police do their job :D

BTW you are all lame, no OJ jokes?
