Anyone hear of this car company?

I didn't remember the car name, but after clicking the link I've seen that thing before on Jalopnik or something. Or did I just see that thing in the 70's when a Mustang and a 71 GTX ran into each other.

I wonder how much of the powertrain is straight out of the Corvette? Is the torque tube the same part as a Vette or is it longer?

Do they give the weight or dimensions anywhere? It appears to have an LS9 so I'm guessing 638 HP unless they do something because they don't give a shit about CAFE.

Given a wheelbase 11" longer than a Vette it seems certain the torque tube is unique. That seems like the sort of thing that would really drive up the price of this. I wonder how much of everything that is underneath it does share with a Vette though. It says it has MR shocks, the width is the same as a Vette, and PTM, although I'm not sure how the PTM is going to work seeing how a longer wheel base and narrower tires would certainly necessitate a new calibration. Looking at their overhead chassis shot compared to a similar image from a Vette, it looks like the Vette stuff with coil overs.

Yes it's at the auto show, in the basement. First car in the basement is the Falcon F7, then Lingenfelter has a few. Equus is toward the back.
I'll try to post a link once we get the video together of the cars on display there.
I have some photos to post but Windows 8 sucks so badly I can't post $hit.

Torque tube doesn't make the wheelbase. The engine can be set back relative to the front wheels moving the wheelbase out.

Some could be taken up by the trans too, hard to tell, defintiely not 11" of engine set back though.

Damn it, embeded picture no worky

The torque tube does look different. The shifter is mounted on top/center instead of off to the left side on C5/C6. Any idea what a C7 TT looks like?

It's a long and crazy saga a number of my friends have been involved in. The guy that owns this project spent an eye-watering sum to take 4 of my buddies in a large group of people around India driving classic Mustangs. Took them all to the Cannes film festival for promotional purposes (I guess) as well. Eccentric would be an accurate descriptor.

I think I remember you posting about that trip to India with the Mustangs. Interesting that was related to this.
