I am looking for a means to keep my yard watered. I noticed you can get something like this:

Anyone have any experience with them? I want something that I don't really have to monitor, just runs when I want it to run. Thanks!

Never tried those but it looks like the reviews on Amazon are pretty favorable. I just had one of those water driven lawn tractors that follows the hose and stops when it runs over that ramp. :lol: Never had a digital set-up.

I could use one of those. I was watering the garden and left the water on overnight. It was not pretty when I realized it at 4:30am and ran out there to turn off the water.

Yea. I just went outside and turned on the hose about 20 minutes ago. I remembered to turn it back off, but can see it would be easy to forget.

Hmmm, these would be sweet for all the soaker hoses that we have in the gardens at the new house. I may have to look into these as well Ryan. Now you got me thinking.

they can get prett intricate and pricey. You can ones that split the water to different outputs. I just need one for my front yard. I don't care if my backyard is brown.

I had a timer for the sprinkler system at a house I rented when I first moved down. A little more complicated than that unit, but it worked well.
