Anyone have experience with Portable garage/carport?

I'm thinking about buying a Portable garage/carport for my utility trailer and and lawn equipment. Anyone ever use one of these?

I was looking at this one. But I'm sure someone probably makes one that is better quality.

Thanks

A buddy of mine has one he LOVES it. Looks identical to that one. His has I believe a nice zip up door. He layed either carpet or tarp across the floor and puts his foxbody inside of it. He has a 4 car garage with a house, he keeps 4 in their and the Mustang in the portable. No moisture even got inside of it. Real nice setup.

They are nice but you have to kep the snow off the roof. Also with this wind we have been having you got to have them secured down. I had one blow away before so I strapped the next one to my wooden fence and the other side to a buch of garden wall bricks. EDIT. That one says snow load ok but the one I had held snow and would start to bow in. That one looks better than mine.

It's okay you can tell us you got it from harbor freight for forty bucks.

we use them in my sons boyscout troop they hold up great

tie em down they stand up to 45 mph wind gust

go up easy

I've seen them on sale pretty cheap at Costco. Around a $100-150 IIRC.

Get yourself some 18" pieces of rebar and bend them like candy canes. Stake it down with a bunch of those and you'll be golden as far as wind......it's what we do in the Black Rock desert where winds easily top 50mph.

I've used a "ShelterKing" portable garage for like 4 years now and have had to replace the cover after about a year and a half or so. I agree with keeping the snow off the tops of them. It weakens the cover pretty quickly if it sits on it all winter. I paid like $500+ bucks for it new and I wouldn't recommend getting one from them(Shelterking). Something else that I noticed since ive owned one is that the material dries out very quickly if we tend to have a hotter, dry summer. I would recommend keeping it in a somewhat shaded area if possible. Maybe you'll have better luck with the one you decide on but I figured i'd at least give out some helpful tips based on what i've already been through with my $500+ dollar one. Good Luck....
