This person is a scammer.

I needed the code, so I sent a message to this person about a week ago asking how much she would want to end the auction early. We went back and forth and she seemed very trustworthy, and has 137 positive feedbacks so I figured she was a legit person.

She said she'd need $45 to end it early and she would send me the code in an email right after I sent payment.

I sent payment and didn't hear from her for days until after I had filed a paypal dispute and called paypal to escalate it to a claim immediately, because I ended up buying the code from another ebay member who sent the code to me in a message.

The skank has now relisted the item. She has taken my paypal and never responded. I will have to wait for paypal to refund me in about a week that is IF SHE DOES NOT SCREW ME BY SENDING A PHONY number or something. If she provides tracking, paypal will not refund me and I'm out $45.

This couldn't have come at a worse time, as I had to put $220+ into my car replacing the clutch and I also had to buy books for 2 other classes, plus another Wiley plus code so I am BROKE at the moment and will not see cash until Wed, so she screwed me at the wrong time.

I'm thinking bid on that item and then just don't pay for it or someway to screw her out of selling it. What can I do? Online scammers make me sick. They're about as low as you can get and are just as bad as any other crook.

Any suggestions, Motown?

Don't have someone end an auction early unless you are paying for it in person. I had this happen to me years ago too. You just can't trust people these days

You're right about that. I should have had her relist it so I was protected under ebay but I have done this in the past and have never been screwed.

This is twice now in the last couple months. Person didn't send me a wheel I ordered for my bike and he never responded to anything and I had to wait the 2+ weeks for paypal and that was on top of the 2 weeks I had waited for him to send the wheel out.

Whats the info? Sounds like we could at least have some fun with em :D

If you screw with them they'll screw your feedback. Not really worth it. Now if you started a new accunt and screwed with 'em...

Yep never have an auction end early because then its out of ebays and paypals hands. Maybe just keep pestering via email or something.

#1 rule of paypal: pay with credit card only. If you don't get your item, call the CC company, explain, they file chargeback, paypal ALWAYS sides with CC company, you get your money, they get f'd.

That's good to know. Wish I did that.
