Like the title says, I'm looking for a new urologist because the one I've been dealing with for the last few months sucks. It shouldn't take me ALL DAY to finally not get a busy signal at your office:mad: I have a reoccurring kidney stone issue that is trying to destroy me right now and the Vicodin supply is low......this shit hurts! I sense yet another surgery in my future unfortunately(this will be the 3rd in 7 months :(), but I'm sick of lining this guys pockets for sub-par service.

Preferably on the west side of town.

Thanks:thumbsup:

I remember a few years ago, my father had kidnet stones that they just wanted him to pass, but, one got stuck in his 'ahem,"wang", and the doctor had to go in the end and break it up, I guess the doc got him in the face with some pressurized piss, lol, probably why he was wearing a facemask

Sorry to hear!
My wife is the surgery scheduler at
Huron Valley Urology it is in Ann Arbor and they have some good doctors and all are very professional.

wow thats terrible. Isnt there something you could be taking (vitamin or minerals) that help take care of that problem?

are you a diabetic?

I went to one at the hospital @13 and woodward. I'll dig out his name. pretty cool, cut my visit rate down since i was uninsured and paying in cash.

did they try shock waves on those bitches to break them up so they aren't so bad?

The problem has been that they try to pass from the kidney to the bladder, but get stuck in the tube that connects them, thus having to go in and break them up. They can only do shockwave if it's still in the kidney.

Nope, not diabetic.

Yes, I take magnesium, zinc, B6, folic acid, and an herbal "stonefree" stuff daily. The big thing they tell you is to drink LOTS of water daily, which I do. I carry a Nalgene bottle with me always and empty it 4-6 times a day. Pretty much if you're pissing clear, you're getting enough water.

For what ever reason I make monster stones. The one that sent me to the ER on Thanksgiving was HUGE.......8mm(.315"). For the record, I'm only 33, so don't think this $hit only happens to old people.

Another MM member sent me the info on a guy over there.....Dr Rubenstein. I plan on calling him today. I also plan on getting in to see a nephrologist, which is a kidney specialist.

I still owe a bunch of money for the last surgery(after insurance FTL) and know I'm gonna have to go under the laser yet again :(
