Anyone have a line on a 3.4 GM motor

As some know, let a buddy borrow mine and now have to replace the motor..

Looking for a 100k-ish milage 3.4 for a Grand Am, shortblock would work just fine.

Look for a 3500, they are cheaper and little bit better. There are a few tweaks to get it to work but if you still have your stock motor you can take parts from that to complete. Here is a how to.

I know people have been finding 3500 long blocks for $400 with low mileage and 3400 long blocks with high mileage have been going for $600-700. I hope that helps some

The mounts for a 3500 is not the same on the block or pan and the crank ring is not the same and will require an external trigger. Stay with a 3400 or 2000+ 3100.

Being its a 99, my last post applies still. Bracketry, sensors, emissions, and manifolds may need to be swapped more than likely.
