Anyone go to Costco?

I'm looking at a 40-41" toolbox for the garage, and a few people have mentioned that Costco has a few nice ones reasonable. Anyone familiar with those stores? I'm coming down to Detroit Tuesday to drop the car off at C.A.R.S., and might swing by any that are reasonably close. Anyone happen to know which stores carry them, and which don't?

All of them should carry them

I bought mine (just like LT2Pat) at the Costco in Roseville. Gratiot and 696. They sell out quick so I would call first before running around.

I checked their website and couldn't find them, but have been told they carry them. I'll check around Tuesday. Their website mentioned a membership. Do you have to be a member to shop there?

yes you do, membership is $45 for a year. But, you can enter and see what they have without one. Tell them your thinking about joining, or you want to buy alcohol.

If you want to buy a box and want to come on my side of town, bring cash and we'll use my membership to buy the toolbox.

The closest one to Sean's shop is Tele and Sq Lake Rd. in bloomfield

Blu works at Costco. I forgot which one though.

You are correct. :D

Telegraph and Square lake IIRC.

You are also correct....you stalkin me?

Cool. I'll check them out Tuesday, and if I decide that's the one I want, I'll contact you. Unfortunately, first I have to pour a slab for the box to sit on before I can justify getting the box. So it'll be a month or two before I'm ready for it. I just got the go from the township zoning committee, now on to digging foundations for the new garage.

Well, I stopped by the one over by Great Lakes Crossing today, and they wouldn't even let me in to look at them, or see if there were any in stock unless I at least got a one day membership. I guess if thats the way its gonna be, I'll just get a Craftsman or Kobalt box or something.
