lol I was on 696 east at like 5pm and the mound exit was closed and I saw about a hundred car police convoy with State boys suvs and some white vans rolling west on 696...bike cops all over the side of the road every mile or so...it was nuts. Secret service on the overpasses and shit...lol
 
No, but I did have to schedule a flight around his arrival. The FAA heavily restricts flights within a thirty mile range when the prez is in town and PTK (Oakland Pontiac) is definitely within thirty nm of Selfridge.
 
That is such Bullshit! Can't he take a chopper or something? Why does the whole city shut down every time he comes here?

Ya know, The whole motorcade is bullshit, creating unneccesary traffic for everyone, and inconveniencing people.

I say just stick him in a honda civic and he'd fit right in with the rest of 696 traffic...no one would ever know.

I hope your kidding, because, you know, he comes here on a plane. In fact, he goes right over my friends house on 21 mile. They don't make my friend evacuate or anything.
