Anyone catch that incredible sunset tonight??

what lake is that?
Crescent Lake

Sweet and yes I seen it at chicken shack...
Chicken Shack FTW!!!! :D

Nice pics!

Tip: Always have the sunlight to your back so the car doesn't look so dark.
Yeah I took one with the sunset to my back and it showed the car just fine, but there was no color to the sky in that direction. But I do follow that rule with daytime pics. Keep the sun to my back for better lighting on the car and no washout from the sunlight.

I like the shot across the tail lamps, what lake is that???

Crescent Lake. There is a mini beach area near my house that puts the lake with the sunset behind it. I have been meaning to get over there to get some pics for a while and finally just did it yesterday. And boy was that a good evening to head over.

hah... nice pics tony. that was me that honked.

if your camera has an adjustment for it, you want to keep your shutter open as long as possible when taking those kind of pics. but, you'll need a tripod if you do that as they will be shaky if you don't.

thought so but wasn't sure.

are there any good spots on either elizabeth or cass to take pictures? alot of the lakes seem to cluttered/packed with houses.

Not sure. But could probably scout some out. Yeah there are a lot of houses. That spot I found was right across from the CLI (Crescent Lake Inn). Too narrow for a house so it is overflow parking for the bar on the weekends.

Simple tip: Tri-pod and a longer shutter to let some more light in to bring out your car more.

dude, that's a brilliant idea!
