Take 2: Anyone can inspect a car for me...In Madison, WI :)

Since I couldnt find anyone to inspect a 70s Fiat in Seattle, I found one near Madison Wisconsin and looking to see if anyone lives near there or will be near there that could check it out for me? Would be greatly appreciated :luv3:

I cant change the title.

Thanks

It is a straight forward 3 step process....

1) You Locate & contact a local auto shop / dealership in that states area where the car is located.
2) You notify the seller to take his vehicle to said shop for inspection.
3) You pay for said inspection and have shop send inspection report (& photos) directly to you.

It is that easy, a simply 3 step process and you're not purchasing a car blindly.
It won't eliminate all problems / concerns, but should give you enough of an idea.

If it were that easy. The car doesnt run or drive, and they are two identical cars.

I just want someone to check if the underneath is rusted and if so, how bad.

I'll check on another car forum Im on.

If you have someone else just go to the guys house & inspect them,
you're still relying on someone else to grade / evaluate the cars.

As Golden stated, have the owner shoot a live video with excellent
lighting and direct him to show you what you're looking for.

Buying a non-running car out of state doesn't sound like fun, hope
the cars are at least cheap!

The guy is asking $1200 for the car. Shipping would be about $800.

Those inspection sites want $200

If someone lives near by, they could just look at it.

Ive done it for people who needed to see cars in the Metro Detroit area. I just dont know anyone in the Seattle area.

I asked because one of my brothers lives in the 'burbs of Seattle but won't go into the "big city" unless he absolutely has to.

Sorry I can't help. :-(
