Purchased a bobcat 450 @ auction that needs repair. No movement fwd or rev-either side. Feels like hydraulics being by passed. Pushes freely(after releasing parking brake)
Need to pay someone to fix it. Guessing there's a valve some one turned releasing the hydrostatic transmissions to transport it. unsure.
Purchased a service manual, but have not had time to work on. Snows piling up.
Anyone?
 
I also heard the pumps are common to fail, but I had a hard time believing both R & L pumps both went bad at the same time. less than 1600 hrs, fluid is clear & clean. Ordered another filter-going to cut open the old one and look. Pump for bucket work well (same reservoir).
Most usally have a bypass valve to turn for service. Unable to determine if this one has one. drive chains look like new. Unsure if someone tried to tow it and broke something?
I have gauges here, but no time to work on.
was hoping to find a unemployed mechanic familure with that I could pay cash to repair
