They signed a contract on the show that said he legally could not just give it back to him. The contract said that the car had to go up on EBAY with a certain reserve price. (owner set the reserve price ahead of time and the contract was drawn up accordingly)

That car won't bring 42k...what a scam but at least it made for a good episode.

Fantastic episode! REAL racing and no bull shit sandbagging!
Only suggestion I would make to those two cat's is to contol those wheelies. They were very impressive and fun to watch but too much energy wasted going into the air instead of driving forward. Those guy's also realized how the extra footage or shortage of footage affected their cars.
Again, one very tit's episode! :laugh: :icon_mrgr :wink:

Seeing as I'm the guy that twisted Tim's motor together I can tell you, its a 4.030" bore x 4.125" stroke. The heads are LS6 CNC ported, has a 90mm TB, and a Beck Mechanical sheet metal intake manifold.

He made 626rwhp with the current tune thats in the car in Missouri.

He will be at Milan this Saturday for North v.s. South.

When I said the "worthless snapshot they show" I was referring to the short clip they show on the screen that tells what people's combos are. I didn't mean any disrespect or anything like that. I just wasn't sure how accurate those clips they show are. Looks like they are pretty damn accurate though.

Who's CNC ported LS6 heads are they? TSP, PP, ETP or someone elses? One of your custom grind cams? How many RPM's does that motor see???

Nice job on building that motor. That thing ran like a raped ape.

I believe he said he spins that motor to 8100rpm. Or at least I'm assuming that's when a limiter comes in. He mentioned it when they were talking about setting him back 2 carlengths, something about not wanting to shift into 5th gear. He said if he goes back 1 car and the brother goes forward the other distance that will let him cross 4th right about 8100rpm or so which is all he can turn.

The wheels or badges? Badges, I agree. Wheels I don't.

For example, a lot of people like the style of ZO6 wheels. I hate them, but that's neither here nor there. They like them so they put them on Camaros T/A's, regular Vettes, etc. Wheels are interchangeble and ok. And a nice wheels from another model car can drastically imprve the look of another car. Hell, I put Saleen replica wheels on my Cobra. Not because I wanted people to think my car was a Saleen, but because I really liked that style wheel. (no lip, 18", chrome, clean yet "blingy" design) Now to slap on badges from other cars trying to pass yours off as something it's not, that not ok.
