Any use for dish network boxes?

I have some old dish network boxes and remotes.
(1) 322
(1) VIP622 DVR HDTV
I think I have some others too.

Is there any use for these things or are they garbage?

You need a router/wifi card with an external antenna, you basically mount it where the LNB is on the dish.

You can literally go 5, 10, 50 miles with a setup like that.

Check this book out at Barnes and Noble (or buy an old copy on eBay for $2 like I did), they have a ton of different ideas for long-range wifi.
