tried new cap and rotor. Still the same deal. Spark to the coilwire but not to the plug. Losing it in the cap. Could it be the hall sensor in the dist? That's all fixed in position so I can't see how it moved. But that's what tells the coil/ecm to fire. And its firing the spark to the coil wire. So how could that lose position? I hate to spend another $100 when thats not it. I also tried a new plug wire and there was no spark out of the dist
Anthony, Can you ohm check that fire wall adapter for the coil?
Maybe rig the coil closer to the distributor for testing. It seems you tested the coil in the car and got spark. Maybe you have a disconnect somewhere...
he has spark even at the coil wire connector that goes to the dist. too. literally right at the dist. so Im completely clueless about how hes got spark going into the dist. but not out...
