Not knocking ya but man...
If you cant rebuild a Holley..You're lacking some mech skills bro!!!

the holley carb is not a hard one to rebuild..but if youve never done it before i can understand how it would look pretty decieving. the best thing you can do is to get yourself an exploded diagram and a CLEAN work area thats a pretty good size..ive always laid down something and used the kitchen table..but take your time and follow the diagram and i think you should be just fine

what dave said is 100% true so dont be too discouraged, it seems alot harder than it is but trust me a clean work area and a good reference is all you need

good luck !

Maybe he just doesn't have the time and is looking for someone to handle it for him ;)

Is it New In Box ? If so run it. If not then an overhaul might be a good idea. Get a good rebuild manual and you will be fine.

Yeah it doesn't sound like your going for my jugular but next time you come at me, I'll open my legs a little bit wider so you can really nail me in the balls.

Anywayz, yeah it is new in the box but it's been sitting on my garage shelf (out of the box) for a couple of years and I just want to make sure it's OK. I might give it a shot but I lack major patients and I'd rather pay someone to mess with it.
Thanks guys

As long as the float plugs are in it it should be fine. Other wise it might need cleanign nothing a set of bowl and metering plate gaskets won't cover it.
