I had to have my daughters Grand Cherokee Flashed for the trailer plug (factory installed) to work.

Cadillac XT5 are the only vehicles I know of that have to have the trailer tow turned on

hooked mine up and had no problems , factory must have bent the pin , kens the man when it comes to hitches
