I got a 2002 Mercury Sable for 1200.00? .... sitting in my lot at the shop... needs a little TLC (which I planned on doing when I get time).... typical rust around the wheel wells/rockers.... has a noisy AC compressor... New Brakes in front.... 3.0L Some of the leather patches on the door panels are off, drivers seat (leather) is ripped (parts galore had one for 27 bucks) Tires look good (80%?) Headlamps are faded, battery is weak, dent in the drives door that looks like it can be pushed out from behind...
Drove this home several times looking for problems.... comfortable to drive (all Tauruses are)

Over the years I bought a few of these vehicles with bad transmissions/head gaskets .... fixed them & drove them every day for a year + them sold them.... I kinda like them... especially the station wagons.
