Any Car Alarm Experts Out There??

Hi Guys,

Recently purchased a PHONICS DIGITAL 2-WAY PAGING ALARM w/ LCD DISPLAY, part number PD-175. I intend to install it in a classic car. It has several features that I will not need or want but the price was too good to pass up. What I am wondering is, can I just wire it to power,1 door switch,a hood switch and the siren?? I don't care about the starter kill or flashing lights when it arms or anything else. In case you are wondering the car is an old Mustang that is carburated and I just want the paging function to alert us if someone is tampering with the car while we are close by. Any thoughts??

You can connect as many or as little inputs as you like. I would suggest a shock sensor as well.

O.K thanks guys!! Was'nt sure if all the wires would need to be connected to complete a circut for the system to work. Yes, I'll keep the shock sensor in case they try to flatbed it away.
