Looking for a 4r70w trans to mess with, prefferably a 97+ f15o. Let me know if you have anything cheap.Thanks

Well, I cant find any one that can do it for a fair price.Thats why I was looking for possibly a junk one to tear apart and maybe see if its something I could tackle.I need to pull my PI convertor out and send it to have the clutches upgraded..thought about taking a peak at the tranny clutches and if it needs to be rebuilt..I would like to do both at the same time.

Talk to Sean, he has been in quite a few, and likes them
 
Mine was built by joels on joy, for about 700hp in a 3400 pound car. I was supposed to be an AODE but it uses all 4r parts. I know it has all harden shafts and a valve body along with upgraded clutches. I don't know a lot about autos, but I do know I dropped some serious coin for it.

You should probably specify Modular or Windsor/V6 bolt pattern unless the plan is just to rip the guts out of it for some other purpose.
 
Do it yourself.....

I looked at Dom's last year, almost all the parts were production pieces....Frictions/Steels were changed, the Stub shaft might be prodution....

I use D&E for parts....Good place to deal with....
