Another Street Car Build

update for sure. Never thought anyone could hack a car as much as Drag U Down Customs over here in Tilbury Canada did to my mint shell. Pics don't do it any justice compared to in person. Entire car has to be stripped and all panels they installed- replaced. They only epoxied about 5% of car and my exerior floors have already started rusting from only washing the car twice.

guess I should have listened to my instincts the first time they messed up.
Be sure to stop and see them at Autorama this year witha caddy truck. Feel free to let them know what hacks and butchers they are

why bother drilling out spot welds, just lay it over and bondo the rest to make a wide body kit

That sucks, I can only imagine the anger an frustation you have. There are some great painters on this site maybe ask them who they recommend for painting. Sorry I hate when shops screw people or even when people screw people. Pisses me off so much I've stopped talking to people who even associate with others who rip people off.
Keep up the work, it will be worth it in the end!

Wow man I am sooo sorry, that is horrific!!! The worst part for you now is - all of Canada is required to meet a 2.8 VOC law that went into effect June 2011, if you want a top notch, show quality job you will need to bring it over to the boarder!!

Why can't people just do the job right?? They had to know it wasn't gonna last longer than 6months!! I am beginning to hate people more and more these days.

Wow, that sucks. Sorry. Didn't I see a thread about this before? Will this be the third paint job?

Third attempt, but definately not going back there again. They butchered the first time and I gave them the option to back out if they couldn't meet my expectations. They said they could and would fix everything. These clowns won Autorama last year in their class with a Prelude and are back there this year with a Cadillac truck or something. The car looks good in their shop when they said it was fixed (supposedly fixed but only added a ton of paint over top) and then we gave them the go ahead to continue. Luckily we didn't have time to reassemble considering when the paint cured it revealed all this mess. When they delivered the car to me they literally just finished polishing the shit out of it 1 hr before. so of course it looks great to my eyes.

I honestly didn't think a shop could be this much of butchers. Usually I am the annoying customer watching every step along the way but couldn't due to the fact my 25 week pregnant wife at the time was diagnosed with cancer. Doctors had to deliver the baby 3 months early and then the wife started her chemo one week after. Tristan was born 1lb 14oz at 29 weeks- he is our little miracle that saved mommies life also. Wife has since whooped cancers ass and is in remission and Tristan is doing great and smart as hell. All this happening while running my own shop. The mustang was the least of my worries.
