Another new Japanese trend

I am always looking out for an old GMC van with a sliding door and no side windows....damn you A-Team for putting that in my head.

But i like these ones too.
 
It kind of looks like they go for a bit of a "rat rod" vibe. A couple of those look like they might have shot primer over perfectly good paint.
 
i think the part that sets them apart from the modded vans you see over here is the wheel style. they like to use matte and more neutral colors. low offset but also smaller in size. it entirely changes the look from that of the bigger = better, mirrored finish wheels we typically use over here. other than that, i see many similarities.

I think they are real cool! Pretty cleanly done for those old vans...haha

my dad had one of those vans every year for the last decade until they stopped making them. something about how high they were and how useless they were in the winter..

those vans=win.. a nice comeback after tokyo drift
