Another fine job from Detail Express

Dropped my car off this morning to have the windshield tinted and a last minute in and out wash. The guys did a great job and I couldn't be happier with their services. Definitely worth the 35-40 minute drive if your not in the Keego Harbor area. I will be a returning customer and I would highly recommend them for any detailing and tint service. Thanks again!

Cool. Should we mention MM? Do we ask for a specific person? I have two that need done.

I didn't mention anything about MM when I called to make my appointment. Matt is the go to guy for MM members I think, Todd was there this morning when I dropped my car off.

And this thread is WORTHLESS without pictures

I didn't want to break any rules since I know pics aren't allowed in the pub, lol. Here's some shitty cell phone pics...

That windshield is pretty dark. Hope you dont have to drive too much in the dark out of the city.

Do you get harrassed for the windshield?

How do you guys not get pulled over constantly with your windshields that dark? It was every 2-3 months for me in the Camaro with the side windows at 35%... and that was with normal driving, relatively quiet exhaust, etc...?

The windshield is done in 35% with the rest of the car being 5%. This is my second vehicle with having the windshield done. I was fortunate enough to have never been pulled over in my Durango but I was followed a couple of times. Surprisingly enough when I was on my way home the other night there was a State cop pulling out of a restaurant, he came right next to me at a stop light and I thought for sure he was going to pull me over once the light turned green but he just went about his business as I did mine. I feel that as long as your not doing anything else to give them a reason to pull you over then the tint is the least of there worries these days. I remember when I was a teenager I was getting harassed all the time for tinted windows with out having the windshield done.

I have a hard time seing out of my 35% side windows at night where I live. I don't think I could rock a tinted shield, but would love to.
