another car in the stable

so i picked this up off of slideways and im not to sure what im gonna do with yet.......the body is clean and it has no rust but it needs a new top, new front seats and the passenger mirror is cracked.....anyway here it is

haha, the calypso whore. Its not a bad car, just needs to be cleaned up a little.
it handles pretty damn good, If youre gonna keep it, id put some subframe connectors on there first thing. You can already see where it was flexing the door jam bolt

Just picked the quad up from my buddies house. Runnin good now, Just gotta go pick up a battery for it and it may be my pit vehicle Saturday at no et. Just waitin on the suspension parts.

No rings went in it :dontknow: Not really sure what was done to it. I dropped it off at my guys house on weds and he called me to pick it up yesterday. Still not really sure what he did to it. But i runs mint now and starts great. Suzukiriderz91 I believe is his sn. He knows what he did to fix it but I dont lol.
 
I think you made the right decision Brandon. It looks like a pretty nice car. Makes me miss my vert'!!! Get it looking good and throw a few bolt-ons at it and cruise it!

Its a fun car to drive, It just needs cleaned up a little bit. i rocked it around town for awhile and really enjoyed it. I just have enough unfinished projects already and figured it would be best to just focus on what I've already got started. Even tho i pretty much ended up tradin it for another project :lol:
 
thats weird that he didnt put rings in it.......like i said when i took it to the shop they ran a compression test and they said it was pretty low, having to push start it is a sure sign usually and you could feel the lack of power, that thing used to fly...... im curious what he did

Yeah iunno all he has really said is he just adjusted a few things I havent really had time to talk to him. It starts right up and runs right out from best I can tell. I gotta get the front suspension fixed up before i can really run it out there it pulls pretty bad.
 
alot of the pulling can be from the rear tires having un equal tire pressure too......that rim having a leak dont help

03 Z400 rode it probablly a total of 10 hours this weekend lol. Front end is coming apart tommrrow night for tie rods, ball joints, and wheel bearings. Thing runs hard tho!
