Ammco 4000 Brake Lathe

I had a hell of a time getting rid of mine about 8 years ago... rotors and drums are cheap to replace these days.

TTT!!! $300.

As an FYI.. If you will mainly be turning tophat or hubless rotors on most cars-light trucks/suvs... you can use a $150 adapter that will take on most of these types of rotors. All you would need after that is the twin cutting head.

Put it on ebay and be prepared to ship it. (just bolt to a pallet) I sold probably 10 of them this way. You will get more money too - atleast I did.

You will have a hard time selling locally. I sold a bunch of these over the years. I sold my last and personal one last year for $350 with ALL the adapters (car and truck), rotor and drum cutting head(s) and a flywheel cutter...and the bench.

They do work great for polishing wheels!! :)

Dang! so maybe $300 is too much for just the lathe? I see with adapters people are asking over $1000

They go for scrap at auction if you don't have the adapters to do something useful with it.
