Amazon FireTVstick

To be clear on how this works. I have to download an addon and then install it right? The list of available addons seems very generic and very random. Currently if I go into Kodi, select "video" then tell it to get me more addons I get a list of 330 items. There's descriptions but nothing outside of that to tell me what exactly I'm downloading or getting.

I saw someone mention Phoenix, but don't see that listed. I did a google search for best Kodi addons and everyone mentioned are not in any of the lists that I have available. So do I have to sideload all addons or should I see them elsewhere?
The easiest is to follow the instructions in the install links posted earlier and it will automatically install most of what you need.

how would you watch the tigers on fsdetroit?

I did order one and got it saturday.
Took it out of the box and plugged in to the TV, then looged in to FS GO, then losing Tigers on within a few minutes of that.
Very easy, no hacking or anything.

They usually have them for $20 to $30 during the holiday season. That's a long ways off, but you can stock up when the time comes.

By then I'm sure something else will be available that's even better or new & improved...
Unless you mean like 4th of July Holiday season.

I want to grab a couple more Shield TVs. Amazon had a lightning deal on them yesterday but I missed out :(

I recommend 1Channel, Exodus and Genesis for movies and shows. Castaway has all sporting events.

Sportsdevil is good as well. Check out Phoenix and SALTS add ons as well for movies and shows. All available from tvaddons.ag repo

Sweet. My apple tv is old, we've had it for at least 4-5 years so it's probably outdated. We've been thinking about canceling our cable again, i'll have to snag one of these up.

They usually hit ~$20 during Christmas. When you don't pay the Apple Tax™, you get a hell of a lot more bang for your buck.

Isn't this illegal? Doesn't this download movies over the internet? Isn't everything online trackable?

Seems like you are asking for trouble.
