Looking to borrow or buy an ALDL cable or OBD1 scanner, thought i would see if anyone had a used one. I've got a 1987 Chevy R10 TBI pickup with poor idle, trying to diagnose the issue.

Thanks,
John

I've done the SES code reading with the paperclip. Codes were 33 - Map sensor signal out of range, high and 45 - Oxygen sensor rich exhaust. I replaced the MAP sensor hoping that was the issue, no dice.

I am looking for something that can monitor sensor voltages, rpm, etc.

Thanks,
John

Thanks guys, I'll keep you posted. I think I might have found the issue. Went to replace the fuel filter yesterday, there was a rubber hose and standard hose clamp feeding the filter from the tank side. I was going to replace the hose with at least proper fuel line and smooth hose clamps and found the hose covered about 6 inches of the hard line. Took the hose off to reveal a twist in the line, almost cutting off flow. I cut it out and replaced with new hard line and compression fittings. So far it has been running without issue.
