The 2nd Amendment was put in place for a couple of reasons, one of them being the ability of the people to keep the government in "check." The media is spinning it like it was made so we could have hunting rifles. They now have the public now believing there is no purpose of an "assault rifles."

If I remember correctly, the government's definition of an assault rifle was one which had a bayonet lug. I will be the first to offer to lop the bayonet lugs off of my guns so that I can help.

Better to go with the newer 5.45x39 if you plan on shooting it a lot. That's what I did and love it. Think I paid under 10 cents per round. 9 mm at the time was 18 or 19 cents.

What is the "need" for a message board in the US?

Unfortunately it's this mindset that will be used to start the process of banning guns like semi auto pistols......because who "needs" a 10 round clip.
