man this whole ordeal has taken a couple months.....I basically cleaned, sealed, and undercoated the whole bottom of the blown 67 (still got a little more to do as you can see in the wheel wells), and also did a couple minor rust patches in the wheel wells(can't even tell they had been worked). The rest of the car is all original steel and in very good shape. I painted the firewall, and had the front frame and everything on the front of the car powdercoated. So now I can start to install the new rearend, engine, and I pick up my trans from mike ridings next week!! finally it feels good to go from taking it apart and cleaning to finally assembling the thing. The pictures make it look kinda crappy, but it is nice a clean looking now.

here is whats its getting this winter

here is one before I tore it apart at the end of this summer when I cracked the ring lands on 2 pistons running 14lbs of boost  on a stock long block out of a mid 70's van with a non blower cam

here is it the day I first bought it, the engine was a disaster and ended up coming out shortly after. You can see the salt on it from when I drove it home in the winter. It also had the stupid tunnel ram on it and the rest of the car was mostly stock....so since I already had the hole in the hood...naturally the next step was the blower....

Looks like you just added about 100# to the car with all the rust proofing.

I assume the tires/wheels on the front are mounted on the wrong sides of the car simply for mock up, correct?

well its not just rustproofing, its sound deadener and keeps the heat down in the interior. This is a 100% street car and wont be seeing the track.

Looks Good Darko, but were you trying to hide some problem area's?

Still going to be running that Blower?
still going with the blower, i'm switching the car over to e85 this summer also.

the bottom of the car was absolutely perfect, so there was no need to hide anything

Great project!
Any reason you put it on the outer surface instead of inside? Just curious.

well its designed to be put on the outside as the instructions say. Also the can itself weighed only about 15-20lbs and I only used maybe 75% of it.
