A SHO faster than a Z06, Shelby GT500 AND a GTR!?!

Crazy right? Well as all of you know, we are no stranger to making monsters out of the little EcoBoost. If you have not been under an internet rock for the last 24 hours then you already know that with our 2015 EcoBoost Mustang we have posted the fastest and quickest 1/4 mile pass of ANY EcoBoost vehicle EVER!

Why stop with just one record? Many of you know the storied attempts to get the most powerful EcoBoost build ever out onto the track. WELL, it has been a long journey, and she fought us at every step! Man has conquered machine, and there is a new WR holding SHO!

How many of you have ever seen a 4400Lb car crush the 1/4 mile faster than a 2015 Dodge Viper GTC, 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and even the insane 2014 Lexus LFA?

WE HAVE!

That's fantastic but I did see a 4400 lb stock car (hellcat) run 10.93 on drag radials...just answering your question. :) great work though, nothing but respect here.

This may be true, but it's a baby V6 not a big hemi.

I can tell you this. My 6600 pound suv with a ecoboost and nothing more than a LMS tune just outran my wife's 2015 sho. I drove the sho and she drove my car, she beat me by 4-5 car from 0-110 4 times. It's crazy what LMS can do with this motors.

Baby v6 with twin turbos.....not exactly a 3.1 v6 out of a 89 grand prix.

Agreed, but look at it like this. A stock hellcat will make 660 to the tire. This car made close to half of this and ran just shy of what most hellcats run. Very impressive.

Compare it to a scat pack charger mine will run into the 11s with a drag radial stock and is 4400lbs. Put a tune and a few other small mods and boom low 11s and it's a cheaper car. Let's not compare a 70k hellcat against it lol.

Scat packs run well. My friend has a hellcat challenger as well as a scat pack charger. His charger with a D/R and intake went a best of 12.03 at 114 and his hellcat with same tire and 109 went best of 10.88 at 129. Both cars are just unreal. To think about how far SRT has come. To buy a scat pack for what it costs and run what it runs is just awesome. The power of that hellcat is crazy. It pulls like a freight train from every speed. Can't beat a 10sec car with a 3/36 bumper to bumper for under 70k. There is not a car for that money that compares.

How does the rest of the car (SHO) hold up, meaning the AWD, Trans, etc...? Nothing breaking? Have you found the weak links yet pushing it to 11.5 sec car (Dang that is moving for those)?

I am seriously considering getting a used Interceptor Taurus w/ecoboost & AWD (Basically the SHO all trimmed down). I have a SHO for theWife now and really like the car but dont want to Mod that one out.

My 2010 sho has tune, down pipe , cat back and corsa. It runs 12.xx and has 80k on it, 50k With mods. It has several 1/4 mile runs. As of today, car has never been in for more than oil change and trans flush. Not an issue with anything. Just need to make sure to run good gas.

Since the beginning of time man has chased the elusive golden time slip.....First there were the Dinosaurs....Then the birth of Christ.......And nothing really happened for about 2000 years.......NOW THIS!!!!

Jesus and Dinosaurs didn't exist at the same time.... :D

I asked my priest, he told me to go read the bible.

The Hellcats weigh 4500#lbs minus driver. But they are twice the displacement with a positive displacement power adder...that is a little far reaching of a comparison.

Thank you.

The rest of the platform is capable of handling the power just fine. The car is a DD.

This is why I want a SHO.

My girl totally agrees with you! She is driving me nuts for one...SHE JUST GOT A NEW LOADED FUSION!

I guess you can say it has SHO and GO lol

It really crazy to see a "dad's car" smoke all 4!
