A little winter cleaning of my DD

Caught some half way decent weather, so I decided to wash the car.

I used the two bucket method (one for car wash shampoo, the other for rinsing) with Meguiars Gold Class car shampoo and conditioner. This is by far the best car wash concentrate I've tried to date. I then dried the car using a microfiber waffle weave drying towel, followed by brand new Meguiars microfiber towels. The tires were dressed with Meguiars hot tire shine, with the excess wiped off 10 minutes later. Engine bay was next, and it got Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner followed by Black Magic engine shine, and wiped off with old microfiber towels.

In April it's getting a true detail, as I will have much more time to work with the paint.

Not sure what the white dots are, but they are NOT in the paint.

Damn, even the Cobalts have the "maintenence free" engine bays.

All the plastic covers means, just change the oil, and that's all the work you'll ever have to do!!

looks good james! BTW i found full concentrate simple green to have great results with cleaning up dirty grimy engine bays.
