A couple changes to my Coronet

I painted the hood and bumper filler yellow to match the car, and put in a nicer set of grills I had that are restored (not blacked out.) Last year I had Weld front runners on it, and the black hood looked good, but now with the stock rims all the way around, I think it looks way better with the hood yellow. It's a thin fiberglass hood, so it's not super straight, (and it's a bitch to work on). I have a steel hood I'm gonna paint and put on. I will miss the lift off hood though, it makes it nice to work on the car.

This thing is so badass! I love the new look, nice job. How's the new setup running for you?

Thanks! It's running good, I'm gonna get it on the dyno and do a final tune in the next week or so, it's a little fat right now, and it's only making 6 lbs. I'm shooting for 8-9.

Well I'm a minority here but I think the black hood made the car mean looking and went well with the black top & black wheels

I agree with that for sure^^
but the yellow hood, steelies and non-murdered out grills adds to the twinturbo sleeper effect.

I too actually liked the black hood. I would've done that bumper fill black as well. But it's your car so as long as you like it, that's all that matters.

Dude, WTF, I have a couple money races lined up. What turbo's?
Whoops. I had heard murmurings. I can't wait to see this thing in person again!

Again... looks Good Johnny.
Glad to hear you are going to get it on the dyno for a true tune.

Sidenote: Did the walk of shame yesterday, but was real real close to the house! LOL

awesome, I took mine for a ride the other day and its almost all worked out.... I'm gonna stop by with it and we'll go for a cruise
