A/C Issues

Have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 A/C compressor cycles on for only a minute (if that) then goes off. Tried a A/C cycling switch but that didn't work. Any ideas? Need to get the A/C working for the wife. I'm ready to just take it in.

sounds like a plugged reciever drier and Exspansion Valve Problem. The Chrysler products are known for corrosion problems and the systems getting clogged up. This needs to be checked out by a pro.
