i have no idea what the problem is. It all the sudden just cut out a while ago for no reason. Anyone help me diagnose it? I am terrible with electrical stuff. I hear a clicking in the door whenever I hit the button to move the window up and down, and it doesnt move the window at all.

8 wires to the motor? weird, usually its just 2 ok if the panel is off, hook the switch back up and try it and listen to see if the motor humms or flexes

tried that, the motor doesnt do anything at all.

There is a electrical box mounted on the door with some wiring going to it. It clicks everytime you hit the window button. I swapped that box out with a known good unit and it was doing the exact same thing.

ok, pins 2 (green)and 5(black) at the motor go directly to the motor, all the others look thike they are for a auto down feature or something, transistorized

see if you have power/ground at those 2 wires when you hit the switch(one will be power and other will be ground, and they will flip flop when you hit the switch for the other direction)

alright fuse was OK

I am getting power at the connector just like you described so I'm assuming the motor is toast then.

we used to see motors or front SAM's go faulty on those a lot. sometimes switch groups. but seeing you heard the click noise in the door when the switch is depressed id assume the switch is operating ok. most likely guess is window motor. if not, check the regulator and make sure its not bent or twisted, try and operate it by hand with everything out of the door, make sure it doesnt bind.
