My first FI on a v8. I missed my tune time with AA so hopefully they can squeek me in sometime soon.

Once this is all ironed out I plan on concentrating on the escort again.

That Bypass might get annoying during a long Cruise... it will sound like a wind leak lol

Car looks Sweet though!

Install wasn't done at the time of the picture. There is a barb coming off the bottom of the anderson power pipe where the bypass hose is connected.

I had a lot of fun with my car when it had a vortech. 430rwhp and it lived off the rev limiter for over a year on pump gas...kind of miss it!

nice car.

So this means I should retune and hook my spray up so I can spank that ass this weekend???

Unfortunately it won't be out this weekend. I still need the tuning up at AA so its on jackstands in my garage at the moment.

Still playing with an IRS or do You Got a solid Axle in that Thing?

IRS :)

I plan to keep it that way until something breaks. If its a halfshaft, I'll throw in a solid, as level 5 halfshafts (which STILL break) are over $1500.

nice car.

I don't baby cars either so this will see a healthy dose of pedal

Thanks for the compliments guys

Yea, the car is pretty dirty in that pic, it hides the touch up paint covered curb rash nicely. I picked the wheels up used, mainly because they're 17x9s as opposed to my 17x8 stockers and the offset looks nicer. I've got plans for those rims but not this year ($$).

re

looks killer i think that by-pass valve will be a problem if ya dont run a hose to the inlet tube as you cant have it venting out, unless it a speed density set up, IE dfi or xfi. ithas to be a close loop system.

This had already been cleared up ;)

I've never tried speed density, might go that route with the v8 zx2 though, we'll see.
