99-04 8.8 bare housing? anyone have one for a decent price? Im not looking for a fox or sn95 rear yet. If i cant find a 99-04 ill consider a fox or sn95 housing.

I thought you were buying a new housing??

If you are looking for used, just go to a scrap yard, you can get one bare or with all the guts (garbage anyway) for $100 or less.

nah, im just gonna strip it, have it welded, and powdercoat it. ill pm him now.

All the housings are the same the difference is in the axles and brakes

I thought the housings themself's were 3/4 inch shorter on each side?

no just the axles and backing plates

so your saying i can buy a fox rear end and buy 99-04 axles and it will work?

Y will need the 99 brakes to. And if you have abs you may have to clearance for the abs sensor alittle with the fox 8.8 but all and all the same.
