98 S-10 2.2 Cold spit and sputter

Ok so the only time it does this is on my drive to work in the morning after its sat all night and even more so if it has rained/snowed over night. In low rpm's under load it misses really bad, but it will idle good and runs good under just transit throttle, but as soon as you try to speed up it will start to spit and sputter real bad again in any gear, up untill maybe 3000rpm or so. Im thinking somehting to do with ignition system?
 
I would try cleaning the coil terminals first. Make sure they aren't green. If they are then new coils and wires are in order.

x2, GM put those coils in an awesome spot, lol, nothing but moisture, they are down real low on the passenger side of the block near the oil pan.
